Bill Treloar, owner of Treloar Associates, has been involved in computer technology for the past 35 years. He began as a Systems Analyst at The Prudential and has grown with the industry to include
programming, database design and development, training, Internet services, and IT management. His wide business experience ranges from the healthcare industry to labor organizations, from the insurance industry to manufacturing, from municipal governments to local school
systems, and from multi-billion dollar corporations to sole proprietorships.
Bill is the founder and recent president of the New York Enterprise Developer User Group, has taught Systems Analysis and Design at the college level, and is widely published in technical periodicals for database application developers. Bill has been developing DataEase applications since the mid-1980s, and is affiliated with PLM Consulting of Wilmington, DE., one of the most prestigious DataEase consulting firms in the country.
Bill holds an MBA in Management and the life insurance industry's FLMI designation and has
been a member of both the Corporate Advisory Board of the Technology Managers
Forum and the American Management Association.
Treloar Associates is a virtual consultancy with a broad network of
affiliated computer consultants, Internet developers, and database application
developers in NJ, the New York City area, and across the country. We are small enough to give personal attention but large enough to
provide a wide range of services.
We're fortunate to have had wide ranging experience managing non-technical
organizations as well as IT organizations. We've learned that computers and
systems don't solve business problems; people solve those problems.
Information systems facilitate solutions by helping and supporting
the people who make the organization run. That's why we focus on
communication: speaking with you in plain English. Our goal is first to understand you and your needs,
and then to make the technology contribute effectively to your
organization.
